What if the child theme inhereted from Divi. What should I adjust?

Settings will be the same in Divi and if any CSS is used in the child theme you can adjust the hex values.

i got divi paving, in the theme file editor when selecting style.css on divi paving i only get the first 21 lines. no other css below, the last line says /* add your own CSS below - edit the original styles in wp-content/themes/divi-paving/css/child-theme.css */

Yes, I believe it has a separate CSS file, which is fine.

I forgot that it had a separate file. Usually we use the style.css file. Either is fine.
