I just watched Jenny visit your sweet shop! This tutorial is the best I've seen. Thanks 😊 ❤ One question. It's a long story but I ended up with a B570 that came with a BSR gizmo. (And no lessons) This is not the same as an even feed foot, right?

So glad you found us! Correct-- the BSR is a stitch regulator for a domestic machine. To be honest, I wouldn't bother with it. Your stitches will even out with practice :-)

This would be an absolute fabulous video if you had the camera much much closer to the actual feed dogs so we as new quilters could see what you are talking about. I have an much older Kenmore and l don't have these attachments. But l can get them l'm sure. I just can't see what you're doing.😢

Hi Linda-- this is an overview and I have a lot more specific video. Is there a specific question I can answer-- I'm here to help 🙂

, You didn’t say, that when you put the ruler foot on that you put your feet dogs down to try to FMQ? And I was curious as to what stitch length you were using

I don't usually drop my feed dogs or adjust my stitch length. With an omni-directional foot like a ruler foot or FMQ foot, you, not the feed dogs will create the stitch length by how quickly you move the fabric in relation to the needle speed :-)
