Thanks for the info today. I like the idea of quilting to music. Can you share any songs that might work.

Sorry Holly Anne, but I have to disagree with you on the BSR - its much more than just "training wheels". I've been quilting since the late 80's, and most of that time it was on my Bernina 1530 - piecing, quilting, etc. No BSR, so I consider myself an accomplished FMQer - I dont need the BSR, but I sure love the one on my Bernina Q20. One of the reasons is the built in BSR. It is a marvel, and doesn't hold me back at all. Part of it is that it is built into the bed of the machine, with no foot to get in the way (other than the ruler foot), and it has several modes, and two sensor lights.I highly recommend it.

Thank you thank you thank you!!! you are so good at fixing all my FMQ problems! Tight turns make tight stitches and that throws off tension and my needle broke because it was a 12 (And because i was trying to do pebbles around blueberries, which was maybe a little ambitious for my second day 😂 I really wanted them to look 3d....I was doing great (you would be so proud) til I put in a new bobbin)....And then I was cruising along feeling so proud about how 3d they were looking (without rechecking my tension on the back.) They were 3D alright ...a big huge snarly tension mess on the back and I bent my needle 90 degrees. Not feeling like a rockstar today 😕 So now I am picking as I am watching this video with you...laughing at my 20th time already this week saying "OH! That is why" YOU ARE AMAZING TEACHER AND COACH!.

I didnt like the BSR on my domestic Bernina, but I love it on my Q20.

I agree -- the BSR on my 570 is just too large to use (I can't see what's behind the needle!) and my FMQd quilts on the domestic are just fine (stitches are a little longer than on the Q20). The ease of quilting on the Q20 (on a table) is amazing.

Thank you! Always a great reminder. My Brother machine has quilt patterns. I have thought about using it to quilt something, then I feel like it would be cheating. Lol
