By far the best vectoring tutorial for airliners I've seen. Outstanding!

320 SP: Yes, I would love to see videos about flying procedures. * I have always flown VFR in GA aircraft in flight sims, as I never knew the proper techniques for tube liners, and would love to become proficient. You'd probably be a super IP as well. Thanks so much for creating this YT content.

Thanks for the lesson in this video. I was trying to do the PTH1G approach from the north to ILS RW24 at EGPH and really didn't know how to get to the track after the last waypoint, now I do!

Heathrow airport seems to be one of the biggest airports where pilots seem to always be radar vectored to final as the STAR’s all end at 1 of 4 VOR’s

An other master class, , still practicing the VOR NAV/FPA here. I never really understanded it until you video. I am very grateful.

I’m very pleased it helped! Using FPA on approach is no easy task! Thanks for watching and your kind words.

Many thanks for another great video tutorial. I've learnt quite a few tips and not just about vectoring. I understand the use of the DIR to function to keep the next waypoint ahead of you, however is there any benefit from using FIX INFO function to draw a radial from the FAF/FAP/Threshold to act as the extended centreline or use it to draw range rings.

Could you please write down what cloud addon/plugin/script u were using while recording this video? You’re a great tutor by the way and I do appreciate so much the content that you share with us, thanks to you I’ve learned how to use FMC in an Airbus as a person who has been flying B737 all the time before!

wonderful videos ,do you have an opinion on FENIX or TOLISS
@pavelkostrov16174 жыл бұрын
Thanks, cpt. As usual simply and understandable. Could you somehow show how to input new wpt which is not in navdata? In real life and in Toliss. Coordinates, beam and distance, cross of two beams (or cross beam and circle radius from fix info page). Actually I am practicing at Samos circle to land approach in Greece. I can make crossing circle radius distance and radials, but it is not a wpt. A cant make vertical and speed restrictions there. Just for another stream or tutorial video.

In terms of workload is there much of a difference between an RNAV and an RNP approach? RNP approaches seem to be the same but have curves in the approach where as RNAV is just straight line point to point
@320SimPilot4 жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for watching! These two things are slightly different and it is a bit of a complicated answer. I will do some Q&A videos soon and discuss this in them.
@davidvail12994 жыл бұрын
@@320SimPilot When you include this in your Q&A, would you please include some specific comments about the different RNAV labels for the same approach runway. Common examples: I've seen RNAV Z, RNAV Y, RNAV (GPS), RNAV (RNP). Do they contain meaningful differences that need to be considered?

Do you ever use fix rings to set 10 and 5 Nm from threshold?
@320SimPilot4 жыл бұрын
Yes if it will be useful! For example on a visual approach or maybe circling
@henrikolsen52 жыл бұрын
Do you have good tips on the a32nx that doesn't have the "radial in" working? What I currently do is draw a reciprocal final line as a 'fix' instead, but it doesn't seem quite as smart regarding offset distance etc which isn't shown like you have here, as I recall it.
@frspottingaviation52084 жыл бұрын
Do you have a miss approach tutorial.I got lucky to get back to the airport, I guess I use common sense, lol. I was a PPL loooooong time ago.
