I’m glad my suggestion worked out for you. As a fellow magnepan user looking for better stands is always something important and I have the 1.7i, where the stand is a flat base.

Hope they will think about to modify their standard stands, at least to not let the speaker touch the floor and this annoying clip system!

Thank you for this great video. Showing the step-by-step installation was very helpful. I just recently bought a pair of LRS+ speakers in off-white. I’m powering them with a MAC7200. These speakers are amazing! I’d be happy to spend $200 for a great stand but $300+ seems just crazy. Thanks again, I look forward to more videos about the LRS+. 👍

I have the original LRS (not +). I used TV stands for months, tried it with 2 different height settings (one barely above the floor and another about 20 centimeters off the floor). It did have improved soundstage, but I thought the sound signature shifted to be brighter/thinner in either height setting. I decided to go back to factory stands and I like the sound better that way personally. It has more body, sounds more natural IMO. But the TV stands were an inexpensive way to audition what MagnaRisers would do so I was happy to be able to experiment with them.

Yes definitely more clear with a bigger soundstage thx to the 3 khz recess probably, but as you said, could sound less natural and less invisible. Thx for your feedback!

Everything seems to be expensive in Europe. I got these stands for $4 a pair in my country. and yes, the LRS+ sounds good with them
