How did you get into it? I think it would be an interesting hobby. Is there a lockpicking starter kit I can get somewhere, sort of start with raking and advance from there? I find the transparent lock Bill is using interesting. With learner kits can a guy get different types of transparent locks to work on?
@musikrausch26752 жыл бұрын
@@ozzie444 I started out with the Southord C801 picks. They are pretty decent in my opinion and have a reasonable price (I just realized Bill even made a review on them :D). The only thing that speaks against them is if you tend to use much force while picking they may not be the best choice. In terms of locks, I personally never owned a transparent one because the ones I found when I started where a bit on the expensive side. Hence I just bought different locks (mainly padlocks) on every occasion I had. That said, I think a transparent lock surely is a good way to start and to get to understand what's going on inside when you pick it. Therefore I would actually recommend to get one, if possible. Well and to become better the most important thing is to just practise and to throw yourself onto a variety of new challenges. I hope this helped you out a bit. ;D

Happy Retirement!!! Your videos have been a inspiration to me on a regular basis. Also I have the Sparrow's made disc tool thanks to you! Just to let you know, whenever I introduce lock sporting to anyone, I always direct them to video 404 attacking locks as a crash course on how to get started. Also your lock lab toolkit video is recommended when someone is asking about what to buy. Lately some ghost hunters I watch have been introduced to locksport because they have been either locked in or locked out of some situations. Your prepper toolkit video 1509 has been recommended to be watched on multiple occasions. Just know your work has been, and continues to be a inspiration to many people out there. Best wishes, Cheers!
