Really well filmed and covers all the bases with thorough explanations of what can go wrong and how to make it right. First class instruction. Thank you

Nice instruction video as always. My favorite tutorial channel. I have not seen a channel covering jumping in choppy conditions. Stance, timing, etc. I have not been able to master this yet. Hope you can make a tutorial about it.

2 very important tips: -Hands placement, so the kite doesnt fly up. -Downwind just before the carve, and don't be stiff

Is the release similar to wakeboarding? In this case you scoop with the front leg like hitting a ball with your heel....are they the same?

Great Alex! plenty of details we need!! Please could you do it also the Hooked version? on the Trictionary is called Galey

Hi Gaetano. I don't have a clip of a gayley, but will try and film it when we're eventually allowed out again. For the gayley, try to copy the raley, just skip the unhooking part. You can do everything else the same. Ride at medium speed with the kite at 45 degrees (10:30 or 1:30), turn downwind until line tension drops, then carve upwind sharply. This will make the line tension come back quickly. Try to keep edging with the board even as the kite pulls, then your legs will swing back. You will need to apply more weight on the back foot, to help the board cut into the water.

Why is it called a RALEY? Great video!

I think it may be named after Chet Raley, I'm not sure though.
