Hi, I'm struggling to find out how to remove the cylinders that retain the headrest. Do you have any advice please?

Use a 3/8 ratchet extension and a hammer. Put the female end of the extension on the bottom of the headrest socket and hit the other end with the hammer. They will just pop out

Beautiful work, may I asked why you didn't add foam to the side inserts? Is it because the foam of the cushion in in good shape? I was taught to add foam on all pieces, just curious on your method.

I will only add foam to the pieces that would have been done from factory. If the foam is not in great shape I will repair or replace the foam. sometimes adding foam to every fabric piece will create problems.
