I have a 7 year old 1050ti strix and my pc is already giving me the BSOD VIDEO TDR FAILURE. I guess my gpu is telling me to do the deep cleaning. Question, does 1.5mm do better than 1mm?

Yes, because 1mm will dry and brittle easily after a year. It's too thin to absorb heat. It's only good for SSD's.

Just buy these gelid extreme thermal pads 1.5mm and Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal Paste. The 1.5mm is important, dont go beyond 1.5mm

Not good for 0.5 its only good for SSD. It will brittle in short period. Use 1.5mm

@@anandurajendran3864 I tried playing MIR4 last year without turning it off for 6 months, but now I quitted already. I only turn it off when I am out of town or I will sleep. It also depends on your hardware if you buy cheap hardware it will not last. Strix version has 3 fans on it. I already had a console which I used to play since November last year. I only play on PC when I play Apex Legends. No problems at all :)

@@Reveant24 1.5mm thickness is important and must be followed. Else you will have problems in heatsink's clearance and gaps.
