Price action describes the characteristics of a security’s price movements. This movement is quite often analyzed with respect to price changes in the recent past. In simple terms, price action is a trading technique that allows a trader to read the market and make subjective trading decisions based on the recent and actual price movements, rather than relying solely on technical indicators.
The only people who know where the market is heading are institutions. They are the ones who make the market move and our job as retail traders is to follow their footsteps and get the piece of their movement. As price action traders we need to find the most profitable ways to enter trades. The highest probability setups are 2nd entries, its variations and confirmations setups at the key entry points.

Today was my first day trading price action based off the rules presented in your videos. I didn't see many (if any) high probability set ups today, but hopefully tomorrow will be better. At least i'm glad to see that my analysis somewhat resembled yours. Cheers!

Thanks Thomas! 1-0 for me today, I took that 2ES at 6:45 in the video, a bit risky as you said due to the distance away from the EMA but I got away with it this time, it's a learning moment and on to the next one, thanks again!

I also took these risky trades at first, but over time I discovered that you shouldn't come close to taking these trades. Your stop loss is quite high here and you want to have certainty in your trades. Next time it might just make you lose.

Hello Thomas, I have a question about the trend channels that are drawn as a correction. At minute 4:28 you draw the correction channel wider and so the correction is still in play. How do you decide whether the correction trend is drawn wider or tighter? I'm asking because to me it clearly looks like a visual two-legged pullback and so I drew the channel tighter. Apart from that, it wasn't a good setup because it wasn't a good SB and it wasn't on the KEP. Thanks

Hi, it fits nicely off the lows but more importantly because it looked too rangey(the main structure). Trend was quite weak. Normally you are correct, we draw them tight when trend is stronger because we view them as correction but the fit off the lows was so nice and we were far from the EMA I thought we would go higher to the EMA.
