I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing some wrong or if it just can't be done. I'm thinking it's the latter. I successfully programed a spare emergency Autel key as well as the Autel Smartwatch with the KM100. All are able to lock, unlock and open the trunk. The smartwatch voice commands also work flawlessly. The problem I have is that I can't get remote start to work. I checked the frequency and found that the normal remotes transmit 433mhz range and the remote start fob transmits in the 923.90mhz. Am I correct to assume it is not possible to program RS due to the frequency gap on the smart watch being in the 433 range like the non RS fobs? edit: I should also note that when you program the key the KM100 only shows the basic key icon but not the remote start one. I wasn't sure if that was another reason

Are the universal keys one time use if not how do you reprogram it

Yes All universal smart keys are reusable you only need to regenerate

which software? tSe setup of the watch can be done on mobile with the Autel Application, but all programming to make the remote work or start vehicle must be done with a programming machine or software.

What if the original key is lost and the car is locked? Also would this work on any car ?

only cars in the progamming menu. more than likely only cars with smart ignitions (push to start). I would not be recommended to use this as your only primary key. always have at least 2 keys programmed to the vehicle at all times.

Well found out when dealer installed the key fob battery it was put in upside down . So the key would let you start the car but not let door unlock buttons work .its a fix
