What do you do when a customer wants an oem key but you don't have it in stock? Do you collect the fees up front then order online?

The alternative is buying an expensive key nobody else will pay for and having the customer cancel on you for xyz. If they want something special they have to prove they really want it beforehand. Otherwise you make their cancelation free and your headaches painful

I believe these do work with other keys but the autel one can be reprogramed without soldering

You can program all of them, the universal Ikeys are just reusable even after being locked to a certain car

Thank you. One question and I'm sorry if you covered this... Can this handheld store vehicles' frequency and settings? For example, say you programmed a Ford then the key was lost again could you program another just from memory stored? I'm getting one of these for personal use and this would be a HUGE selling factor. Keeping up with keys on the farm has been quite challenging.

have the Autel KM100, but when I go into Hot Functions, Lost All Keys or Add A Key it can't communicate with the ECU. I am connected to the Internet, it is connected using the usb-c cable. But it won't communicate with the ecu. Any ideas?
