Thank you for a very detailed and interesting lesson on rhythmn. Will need to review it a few times and tap on the beat to count. Another question is, what does 1 rabbit ear above a note mean? I understand now that 2 rabbit ears mean it is an Octave. These symbols are new to me, as I have not seen it before. Always good to be taught new things on guzheng playing. Thank you for this English video which is well explained. Hope to improve on my counting after watching this video.

Good question.1 rabbit ear above a note means index finger. I will make another video about those symbols. This is one of the benefits of teaching: realize what students questions are :-)

hello, do you know if there is a book of these jianpu scores for xiao or dizi and which would bring together the most famous traditional music. Like Irish music books do, for example. If you have this information can you send it to me? THANKS. if you have these musics in pdf, could you send them to me by email under a wetransfer or another site of transfer? thank you in advance because it is very difficult for me to have these traditional music.

There are many music books on Dizi (Bamboo flute) and xiao (wooden flute). You can google it. how should you set the metronome when its 2/4 vs 4/4? Should you set 2 beats for 2/4 and 4 beats for 4/4?

No need to set the metronome for 2/4 or 4/4. Only need to count every beat sound as one and two and three and four and if it is 4/4 and count one and two and when it is 2/4. The speed (40, 60, 80, 90 ...) is what you need to change. Start everything slow as I demo
