Today we look at how to read anyone instantly. We all want to know how to read people, and there are some psychological tricks that can work, but the main way to really read people, is actually very simple.
It’s not some crazy trick, that only a few people on planet earth know about. A lot of people will simply say to “read their body language”, and it’s true, you can certainly read people better by looking at their body language, but the real secret is to master something called sub-communications. And I’m going to go over, exactly what I mean by that in this video.

Trying to read people all the time can actually be very discriminatory towards people who aren't neurotypical. "Look he is staring and doesn't make proper eye contact", "he must be up to something". Or the poor guy has autism and you are being prejudiced towards him because you aren't making allowances for him having a physically and functionally different brain. These videos really piss me off.

Hey Mitch, how do you or your teammate animate these videos? Do you have any tips, tools that you use that I could look into for my own videos? I've been following your channel since very early, and immediately noticed the great animation quality. That, along with your storytelling has really made your message and channel stand out.

Such a well-told story Mitch! Although I was never paralyzed physically, I did suffer from major social anxiety because I felt betrayed and alone most of the time. So instead of talking, I learned to listen and observe...this paid off especially when I became an MP in the Air Force a few years back. Once I knew how to understand people more and have empathy for them, I was able to communicate to them what needs they were failing to meet that was leading to their depression. I feel like a lot of our youth is soooo afraid of showing the world who they really are because they don't want to be judged. And hiding who you really are is a one-way ticket to Depression! Great video my friend!🔥

I'm not entirely sure what the point of this video is. Sure, if you have hours and hours of time to silently observe someone's small unspoken mannerisms then you might be able to glean some degree of extra communication from them. But how often (aside from being paralyzed) does this opportunity present itself in daily life? Furthermore, it is incorrect to generalize one person's body language to understand another or to even assume that one person's body language will be consistent.
@xXRealXx
@xXRealXx 4 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the necro. I think the point is that you should pay way, WAY more attention to people than you currently do so you pick up on non-verbal communication better
@tomandrews1429
@tomandrews1429 4 жыл бұрын
@@xXRealXx Well sure, if that's the point, then it's pretty obvious, but the important part is how do you go about picking up someone's non-verbal communication? The description says "how to read anyone instantly". Lying in a bed listening to someone have a conversation for a long time is hardly reading anyone instantly.
@xXRealXx

I've discovered a few months ago I can basically map out my body by sensing the blood rushing through my body, and the tiny movements I subconsciously make to remember where everything is. This way (I don't know how to describe this better) it's as if I can move my soul out of my body, and look at myself. The fact alone that I can feel the blood rushing through me doesn't really sound like something one can do naturally. Furthermore I can actually sort of feel through my imagination. This is mostly based on memories of feeling it (for instance burning myself), or by combining memorized sensations to replicate something quite accurately although I haven't felt that before. This comes with a prize though, and it costs me the ability to function normally when in a company (even though I like to have friends, and family around me) on top of that I see, hear and feel more. This is due to the absence of a filter which filters out unwanted/unneeded input/sensations/feelings/whatever-you-like-to-call-it. To make things worse I can't stand those sensations. It annoys me on a level where I want to end myself or the source.

I was just told or overheard things, like my french teacher talking about gestures , the series called "lie to me" or even psychology stuff. And when i uncounsciously gathered those informations i was able to spot some tactics people used to manipulate you or finding out when people were lying, etc. I don't know where i'm going by saying this, might be a flex of some sort but yeah. I agree but what if being empathetic and compassionate is ones truest authentic self??? Someone who’s positive and optimistic ? What if at one point they were always angry and constantly negative and realized through self actualization that anger just meant they were genuinely hurt and pained on the inside? Same with any other negative emotions they experienced it all came from fear, fear of suffering..... so I agreed with everything up until the part you shared an example that if someone’s empathetic and just saying nice stuff all the time that thats someone’s mask, we can create ourselves into whatever and whoever we choose to build ourselves up to be, why wouldn’t someone want to be nice 24/7? Be so centered and self aware that they NEVER allowed anything external change their physical or mental state??? Just food for thought!

I really liked this video but from the thumbnail and title it made me think it was going to be one of those “5 tricks to tell if someone likes you” type of videos where they give you random advice, like BrightSide or something like that

What you started saying at 9:31 I don’t think it’s a ridiculous story at all, it’s a great story actually. I watched it from beginning to end, and about Ben beating polio? Doesn’t matter if it’s fiction or non-fiction. Because the point of the video is that if you want to get better at reading people you have to hone your skills in paying attention to other people’s body language and their tone of voice and etc... easier said than done I suppose, but who ever is reading this? I believe you can do it. It won’t be easy and it definitely won’t happen over night, but just put your heart and full effort into it and you’ll get the best oh what life has to offer 👍🏻

So he actually learned categorical observation that kind of observation is very difficult especially just by taking a glimpse of the person or even the way they talk and gestures and even facial expressions that's really very impressive

Very nice video. I just experienced the "Actions are louder than words" phrase. In our school one teacher was always behaving very nicely. She would help you with getting good grades, actually no one got worse grades than 3 (in scale 1-5). But at the final exam she started to behave very weirdly. For some reason, she kept this way of beeing a nice teacher only when interacting to certain people. Others were left to fail. Why? Thats the mask of pretending helpfulnes and positivism. And yes, actions are louder than words! That shoul be looked after when judging politics, haha. Anyway thanks for the video, I really enjoyed it!

Thats actually it. You know someone wholeheartly means it when the body is in tune with what the person says. Sometimes people mean it but have other factors unconciously and lie to themselves. And sometimes people try to help, but cant because some reasons. That says nothing about the teacher. People just lie often. But when actions of the body and the tone fit perfectly, its usually the truth or very good acting, but appearently actors can use a part of themselves to express the role, so its a truth. But for not skilled liars actions are really louder than words.
