What would you say about 3 or 4 cards to a straight (not necessarily in sequence)? How about 3 or 4 cards to a straight flush? Would having 3 or 4 cards in the same suit that are forming a numerical sequence possibly mitigate the overemphasis (and potential imbalance) with only one or two suits in the spread?

Hi Kevin. thanks for your questions... I would say there could be a lot of factors playing in to a spread such as you describe. cards that ARE in sequence can represent sort of interesting stepping stones of events. not in sequence I would have to see what the particular spread was and see what was calling my attention from all possibilities. Either way, this potentially could represent someone being exceedingly thorough in whatever the question was. As far as mitigating an overemphasis, that doesn't strike me right off. Lots of cards in any one particular suit are going to bring an emphasis to that suit. Remember that sometimes temporary imbalances are necessary in order to bring greater overall balance :-))
