How to read tarot - the Twelve House Spread. With Robert Farrah & Jacopo Bosio

In this episode of Tea & tarot, I tell you how to do a twelve-card spread that uses the 12 astrological houses as a basis. I then invite my flatmate Jacopo to join me and I do a demonstration reading.

Also, I review a quirky new deck, the C.S Tarot. I bought it recently from a company called Makeplayingcards.com - but it now looks like they have stopped selling it, maybe for copyright reasons (it uses Pamela Colman Smith's artwork). If I had known it was going to disappear so quickly and maybe become a collector's item, I wouldn't have trimmed off the borders!

Oh and I just watched again and noticed your comments about Waite. I do get what he's saying about the fortune telling subject, there are a lot of readers who don't do fortune telling but rather use the Tarot to delve into issues and get insight on things; and/or access the subconscious. The reader who I learned tarot from is the same, rather than use an 'outcome' position in spreads she would have a 'best course of action to achieve desired outcome' instead. I do the same since that's how I learned but after a while I started using it for predicting the future I couldn't help but notice things were coming true with massive accuracy!! The tarot is definitely amazing :) I do agree with you that Waite's work is unbearable to read though lol!! :)

Great video :) I love this spread! Once you get used to it its very useful and as I've learned more about the houses I'm having a lot of fun with it! I'm still learning as I only started tarot when the first lockdown started so I try it on family members. For example, my step dad's teenage daughter has a new boyfriend and he thinks he's bad news. So I laid out this spread with all the cards down and turned over the 5th house (children) for his daughter, the 11th house for the boyfriend (as its the 7th from the 5th) and then the 12th house to get a sense of the boyfriend's values and how he is with money. Then my step dad told me he's apparently a big drinker so then I turned over the 1st house to see how he drives, as its the 3rd from the boyfriend and the 3rd house is short distance travel. It sounds complicated in writing but its so fun to do haha. Btw I've learned more from you particularly regarding the 8th house so thank you :)

Oh and the last card I mentioned (how the boyfriend drives) I got The Chariot clarified by the Knight of Wands reversed. Not good news lol!!

@@teatarot4557 yes I just ordered a book on amazon on it too! I only searched for a book on the 12 houses however after scrolling down I found a book specifically on the 12 houses tarot spread! The description says there are several different 12 house spreads including one with 6 cards so I'm really looking forward to it. Keep up the good videos :)
