Memorizing Psalms helped me immensely through tough times and mountains literally. Thank you Mark. I'm reading the bible with my children each morning b4 we start school. Doing it this way may make it more interesting for them. We just done levi 🤯 But they are enjoying how they used to live and amazed how many people ran the tabernacle. My 8 year old is Autistic, and each evening b4 sleep wecread a Psalm and hecalways remembers the chapter we are on. Then we read the NT. It brings him peace. Awesome video Marc!! When you questioned why you started reading the bible soo much, it made me think about Matthew 18:1-3. I was just thinking about this because my kids were questioning me about a show I have them watch. But what you said is true in my experience. I had been through soo much and thought I was this grown man and knew soo much about life. Then I picked up the bible and attempted to read straight through until I ended up putting it down at numbers lol. That made me a hot mess. Continuously getting sleepy and confused. Anyways, I started reading out of a student bible and it actually humbled me. Its amazing to see that the bible can reflect what we go through in life and what to expect from what others went through before us. It's absolutely amazing and that's what kept me reading it. Not as much as you lol but your messages/videos have helped me out since I've experienced what I have..to that and what you do, just wanna say thanks. Keep doing whatcha doing!! I had to edit this and add more to my words. When the bible humbled me, It made me realize that, in the world I'm a man. But, when I picked up THE BOOK, I was a child. Read the biible with an open heart and it will reveal itself to you. Marc is right READ IT SLOW. Patience is the key to understanding it. My favorite story is Abraham Isaac & Jacob. I was raised in the church & honestly didn't know much about the Bible until I read it for myself. The church never even taught us about the 12 Tribes of Israel. It blew my mind & changed my life. Reading the Bible is like connecting & communicating with God.

YES! I normally don't have a problem falling asleep while reading the Bible, but I would have the read the same passage over and over again till it would stick. which is unusual for me, because I'm use to speed reading and gathering information super quick. I was reading the Lords of the Rings in 5th grade and I had less difficulties with that from what I recall. Also I recommend reading the book of John first. Proverbs is good and nothing wrong with reading it first, but the the story of Jesus means everything to me and to someone who's new to the Bible it is essential to know his story as soon as possible. I read a proverb a day (1-31=1 a day, if 30 day month=30 and 31 on 30th, so on) and have done this on and off for years. Now i will continue to do so until this life ends as Proverbs are good for reproving and seeing where we fall short. As well as where we are doing well, they never get old, always something new or a new way it applies to oir lives. Also read psalms 3 a week (52wks x 3=156), i reread the 3 multiples times a week, they comfort and can reprove as well, this is also life long for me. As far as the rest i too start with the gospels, then the rest of the NT in various orders but i also cross-reference to other NT books amd the OT, i can get lost doing this for hours and hours! Havent made it to the OT except in cross referencing but i like the idea of Torah first then where ever prayer leads. Thank you for this, made me feel like i have a good reading system as yours is nearly the same. Great suggesrions! Hope its ok that i shared little extras i do. We can always from eachother.

It didnt matter the time I found it strange and thought that it was only me. I pretty much read one or two chapters a day and pray. And yes you’re right you can get sleepy and you can also get distracted easily those are just worldly things that are trying to keep you away from the word of GOD but continue to read the word and continue to feed your spirit everyday and get closer to GOD and pray and repent daily and you will notice changes in your life. You won’t be the same person you were and you won’t have interest in being like the world and that’s cus GOD is working in your life.

Great subject as I needed guidance on this as I only read the Gospel in the New Testament. I personally was guided by staring page 1. Like yourself I used to have a hard time reading. Baby steps worked for me! I made an absolute commitment 1 chapter a day to start my day upon awaking. The more I read, the more I wanted! I listened to Yahs call to read another then another. Listen to the Holy Spirit to call on you to read more. Use what is best for you initially, then let Yah to guide you. Before you know it you will be reading more & more. Everyones journey is different. There is no right or wrong on your pace. Sometimes, I read a chapter only to apply it to my life later that day. It is beautiful and praise to most high. I need a Bible Brother Marc. I sent a message on Instagram over a week ago with no response. I have started reading my Bible on my phone but find it difficult to not become distracted by my phone. I’m a stay at home mom with no income. I have asked my husband several times to get me one. When I was a child I would pray to god to take me where he would like me to read and every time it was the word I needed. I miss that and need that again. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm currently reading the gospels and read one chapter a day. I like to *study* the text and that involves reading other materials as well. I do feel deeply satisfied when reading and studying the Bible. There's so much direction and affirmations through out the text. It's assuring. I'm here for those who like to move at their own pace. As long as it's consistent daily work - God will Bless your "seeds sown in good soil." :)

proverbs is amazing one of my favorite books!! psalms is deep and beautiful as well. ive been trying to read the bible more recently and im not bored while reading it but i go into a very sleepy place where i can barely keep my eyes open. but when i decide to allow myself to fall asleep i fall asleep while praying and its very peaceful feeling but i do want to stay awake more while reading the word. i will try to do 8-10 chapters a day 🙏🏽

Amen brother love from Tottenham London Uk 🇬🇧 love the channel Jesus loves everyone just started reading the bible.was drinking sniffing coke smoking weed smoking cigarettes I’ve stop the coke 16 months stop the weed 4 months not going out drinking put have a beer maybe 3 or 4 cans a week sometime nothing for 3 weeks same with the cigarettes. Since you you suggested reading the Bible i used to yawn even when I would pray. Now I dont get sleepy anymore. I enjoy it. I dont have a K J V bible only NIV and dont have Instagram but will invest in getting a KJV. Thank you for your inspiration. Truly you were right the bible is powerful seeing God talk to us in the now 2024 when it was writtem so lomg ago yet Still applies. 🙏🏼 😊

Yes it took me 7 times to fully understand the parable of wheats and tares, dig a little deeper every day off 3 chapters and fully understand it then having the badge saying I read the whole Bible but can’t remember a spec of it.

Personally I Pray and ask The Most High to lead me to read a certain book in the Bible and Oread at least 2 Chapters a day but I want to make social media videos to spread the Gospel so i need to up the ante This message is on time. I want a King James Bible to Read it with my niece and nephew
