So most of my research into the moon card always say that it is a card that means deception. I could never read the card as this. I started reading intuitively and jotted down a few words I felt the card spoke to me about... Intuition, transformation, evolution, spiritual journey, the night, hidden truths, spiritual attainment. Then I found this video and I am so glad to see I am not the only one to hold these beliefs.

Those things can be deceiving it’s all about the context and feeling. I learned not to take words and try to put the card in a box. You’ll get the Chinese finger trap effect of constricting yourself while reading by using these type of terms. It’s more efficient if you learn what symbol & energy and planet each card represents. Because multiple cards will share the same general words and ideas doing it the other way and your readings will start to be the same

There seems to be so many explanations of this Moon. Someone pulled this card for me and said there is deception. I didn't agree. By the way the Moon rules Cancer sign, exalted in Taurus. I disagree.. I think the wolf is more evolved... It fends for itself and provides for its own pack. It doesn't wait around for humans to do it for them..

I disagree, the wolf symbolized the animalistic, feral nature, while the dog is evolved for reason that it has tamed their animalistic tendencies into more social reason. Wolves pack because of survival, dogs bond because of companionship, why hunt and sharpen your feral nature, when you can use said animalistic traits into more playful and a bonding experience to your fellow who provide you, kinda like that.
