Dear Ellen - yours were the first interpretations I found when I became interested in learning about the tarot a couple of years ago. There are many ways/others out there as you know, all valid i guess though I do get confused with this tendency people have to somehow reverse the upright/ill-dignified meaning with the so called scary difficult cards, like the 3 of swords, the devil , by saying all sorts of negative horrible stuff when they're upright and then somehow that is all lifted when reversed !?! ? I don't get it. Thats why I always come back to you, you are the baseline for my understanding ... and there are some other good ones I've found ... still I love your teaching and references, and the fact you don't shy away from straight talking. If a reversed card needs to give some tough love you just say it, rather than dilute the message. I love your interpretation of the three of swords, I think it is a beautiful message. P.s. could you recommend a book to help me with how to read card combinations, I don't know much at this point and have even more difficulty with how card meanings fit together etc... Thank you !!
