Ive learned much of this about map reading from us army basic training. And just from reading maps during my time in the Army. Anyhow i want to say thank you Sir, This was a great refresher Sir and i was a little rusty on my map reading

I believe its vital and critical that every outdoorsman/sportsman should learn to read maps. Believe it or not their may come a day when you might need to know how to, and then if/when that day comes and you didnt learn how to then.... I hate to say, but youd wish you would have learned how to read one. I figure its better for me to know and be prepared just in case i have to use map reading one day. Id rather be prepared for when/if, than to not be prepared..... and then that scenario happen and me be unprepared and wish that id had learned.
