Just found your channel after watching the GM video. Immediate sub. Love these types of videos as I’m a technical nut for golf shots. I need to learn how to take spin off as I spin my wedges way too much. Never got a lesson but just feel and taught myself. It’s a bit crazy but I do most of what was said on the video by just trial and error. I had cancer back in 2009 and went through over 30 surgeries, chemo and radiation but it made me a better golfer as I couldn’t swing anything over a sand wedge and hit past 40 yards. So 3-4 times a week for my release from the chemo I would go to the range and just hit wedges for hours. A good buddy worked at the course and he let me hit for free. Keep it up and good luck on the Korn Ferry Tour. Will root for you. Also great to see a fellow Asian out there.

Im 15 and trying to play in highschool in the spring. I wasn't able to play last year because of covid. Its winter so my course is closed, so I've been hitting into a net. I want to improve for spring. What do you suggest doing with the net to get the best practice. Also great videos man.

I personally suggest you don't hit balls into a net but I know theres hardly any other options for some states right now. I don't really have a good answer because I'm so anti hitting nets lol

I like to think of it like "squirting" a watermelon seed between your fingers. Pinching the ball between the club face and ground with good sharp grooves. You have to catch enough ball to really compress it downwards while still catching it on the face. So tough to do!

I love hitting on trackman indoors but I’m still not 100% sold on my ball flight on it. One time it said 14k spin with a 60* and I know that’s not right.

If you hit as steep as I do, you can get 12,500rpm on a GC Quad at your club fitting from a PW TaylorMade P7MC. It was at that moment that my fitter said "yea, you need a low spin shaft and probably a lower spin ball" Now it's around 9-10k 🤣🤣🙃 The P7MC spins like a mofo.
