WARNING! I did this with both my aids while out at a restaurant...didn't have my charging case with me to reset. Now I'm deaf! So don't reset both of them UNLESS you're home or have ur case with you!!

Didnt work as described for one of the two units which had stopped in the middle of the day after a couple of years of use. I had tried multiple times as described in the video but this time held the volume control down for a whole minute and then left it overnight in the charger. Voila it was active again. It may not be the longer hold down of course as it may be that leaving it overnight that was the clincher. Hope it helps.

still didnt turn on .. I left in charger an hour after I held the button for 30 seconds.. This is the second time I have had an issue with this same aid.

Yep, didn't work for me. Green for a second then solid red, no charge man.

Tried this on my Phonak Audeo M90-R . It took a little one 1 minute 15 seconds (90 seconds plus) for the green light to appear when I placed my hearing aid back in the charging case. 15 or so extra seconds isn't long except when I am wondering if this is going to bring my hearing aid back to life. It did !! Thank you for this video.

HUGE thanks for this video. I thought my phonak hearing aid was done for. Worked just as you said it would/should. I could not get my hearing aid to work no matter what I did. The one for my right ear was fine and recharged on both ports so I knew it was something with the hearing aid itself.

Is there a difference in upper and lower buttons. Upper buttons clicks properly with a soft press. Lower button has to be pressed hard as if it has no spring.

Mine suddenly quit turning on. It is a solid green in the charger, and I can hear beeps on my other HA when I press it's buttons but I get no sound from it. I have rebooted it several times. No joy. What gives? It was working fine when I put it in last night.

@@charleneb3616 Yeah. I don't know what the insides of the receiver looks like or what the correct terms are, but somehow the part that receives the sound had become unmoored to the shell. It had fallen down inside the shell. That's why I could hear something but it was very muffled. I had to send it back to the factory for repairs. It was under warranty so it didn't cost anything, but it was inconvenient.

On my second pair, they are junk. Second pair (newer upgraded model) is worse than the first.
