Today on Let Dirt Fly, we finally rebuild Seth's 2015 Polaris Sportsman 570 front differential. This can also be done on 450s as well as other quads! We find water made its way into the front diff and turned into slush! Check it out!

Perfect timing I’ll be doing the same 2017 570 I’m pretty sure my front diff was slamming in and out of 2 and 4wheel dr on its own because the clutch plate was getting magnetized? So my front left bearing is wasted I will know shortly any body go through this yet?

What year is Seth’s Polaris? I have a 2020 570 Polaris efi can’t find any A arms for it. Highlifter said they don’t have any for my model.

Mines grinding now! Ive rode the piss out of it never used the front awd esides maybe a total of 3 or 4 hours total . Owner manual says replace every 20 hours engaged or some shit. So thats very infrequent. Went to check the plugs and the damn winch blocks the fill plug. It just started making noise . Im hoping changing the fluid out will fix it. It looks like the dealership only changed engine oil before giving it over...

Can I replace that seal without having to loosen the whole dif? Or can it come apart with just taking the pin out?

You can replace the seals without pulling apart the diff. But, as you saw, if your diff is leaking, chances are dirt and debris also got into the diff that needs to be cleaned out.

PLEASE help me out. What is the part number for the bushing for the pinion gear of this differential 1333067? I have everything to rebuild it but this dang bushing. Can't find it no where. Of course being 68 the internet isn't my cup of tea. LOL Any help at all.

At the 25:18 mark you put it in. I believe its called a dowel pin bushing. I cant find a part number for it. I have everything else. btw- your video is excellent.

You can buy replacement boots off eBay for almost any CV axle you can even buy universal boots with clips cheap

Does the pinion seal ‘bottom out’ or stay flush with the housing and can it go in too far?

We made ours a little deeper then flush with no issues.
