As a Fox Assembly lead, I endorse this message. Your refill procedure isn't what a fox tech would do but it absolutely has no problems and is extra thorough. The seal head also should be torqued to 50ft/lbs (typically) but that's fairly difficult without special tools. Also a good thing to look for is when you compress the shock fully before gassing the reservoir that is stays full compressed, if there is any squishiness there, there is air trapped inside.

Wish I had the ifp tool a couple months ago. Had to do this for a customer without it. I still got it done but I’m sure it would have been a lot easier with the tool. Plus I removed the needle 💉 insert and tapped a Schrader valve setup into the cap. Way easier to charge this way.

I see you empty all the oil out of the reservoir. My fox 2.0 performance series manual states to leave 1/4 of oil above the IFP .

Are the nitrogen pressures the same for the podium qs3?

I can't find the manual for the podium qs3. It's the only thing I lack on getting this done. Local shops don't know the pressures either.

I called fox directly for my podium rc2 shocks. Very easy to get a hold of and they had the info I needed

I know RMATV is the messenger here, but who really rebuilds/replaces shock fluid every 1500 miles/annually or anything even close to that?? Maybe I'm in the minority......
