You removed the retainer clip but didn't pull the cam shaft why not it would have slid right out inspect bearings and everything just s though ?

Salut RCB ,je suis en train de de remettre a neuf un monster 996 s4r de 2004 ,mais les queues de soupapes de ma culasse sont aimantées mais pas leurs tête et je suis dans une question mécanique car je souhaite les roder ,pouvez vous me donner un avis .......Merci Hi RCB, I am in the process of refurbishing a monster 996 s4r from 2004, but the valve stems of my cylinder head are magnetized but not their heads and I am in a mechanical question because I want to break them in, can you give me an opinion.......Thank you

Do you have any tips or tricks on how to get the inner cam bearing out? I've tried just about everything I can think of and my slide hammer wont even budge it

I use a bearing slide hammer puller. Heat the area around the bearing with a torch and start pulling it will come out.
