Hey Justin! Great video, you always do excellent at explaining and showing technique. My son has all the right movements in his lower half, but he's up tall as show at about 14:45 and struggles with power. Is there a good drill to get him "down" into his legs more so he can develop more power?

Like when Coach Justin quotes "Wee Willie" Keeler: "Hit 'em where they ain't." That's what Keeler did and hit .424 and had 239 hits in 1897! There is no footage, however, of him playing that year.

Hey coach justin, Tony Herring Jr. here, and if you don't remember me, I'm the on who didn't know what weird injury I currently have. And I wanted to get back into baseball in the 10th grade. I had just had my appointment on December 11, and turned out it was a family doctor. Now I have to go somewhere else to get it checked. Tryouts are next month and Don't know what to do anymore, especially how it takes so long to get an appointment, heal, rehab, and get back into the saddle to train. This is my one and only shot to make the team, because the head coach wants it to be so that it carries on up until 12th grade. I want to tryout so bad, but I can't because of this injury. What's your advice on this dilemma? I know it may seem impossible, but I want to believe that it could still happen. Thank you for taking the time to read and answer this. -Tony

3 years ago I hit 12 HRs and batted .299 then the next year I hit 3 HRs. and batted .200 and last year I hit 1 HR and I batted .190 I stunk and couldn’t make contact for shit my power was their but I just stopped being able to see the ball and I couldn’t hit a 65mph pitch the fastest pitches I could hit were 55mph lobs down the plate so hopefully this video will help me get out of my slump I’ve been lifting weights and working out so I could get my strength now I just need my contact
