I was talking about during laning, hook-based support when they don’t see an obvious hook angle often just move around randomly, stay behind adc, hide in a bush or just roam(basically have no presence in the lane) then made me who play adc have to 1vs2 and being zoned out of the wave. I’ll then often have to decide between sacrificing cs or being at risk of free poke or even get killed 1vs2

Isn't only low elo supports tho. Even in high elo hook supports are almost useless in that position. Best case scenario you land a hook after the enemy make a mistake or if you're ahead and can make a dive, but even if the hook support have good positioning, in most matchups that becomes a 1v2 if you're still even, especially if its against a enchanter/poke support.

4:10 always fix your wave before attending dragon unless drag requires immediate assistance. It's also important to note here that pyke, like most supports goes straight to drag. It's best for your support to assist in the wave reset before going to drag. If drag can be contested numbers advantage after killing bot will most of the times net you the free drag stats. Also saves your jungler from flaming an adc for fixing the wave while he dies.. Same thing for jungler. If jungler ganks and kills, jungler should assist in wave reset without taking any minions and drag as 3+ together. Drag and full reset with wave hitting tower and bouncing is always optimal.

You can't help low elo fix waves. That's why I only play junglers who can easily solo drake like Yi or WW. If you touch minions after a gank, the adc will 9 out of 10 times not understand and think you're just stealing farm then greed for plating.

@@martinpenev3452 If you are behind and the enemy botlane pushes the lane just farm under turret as best you can or try to freeze the lane by dragging the minions to the bush if they ease their pressure on you after pushing. If he freezes lane you have to make your wave crash into their turret to break the freeze,if you are unable to get close enough to push the wave without getting poked or engaged on them unfortunatly you have to sacrifice the cs and hope your jungler is nearby to help you unfreeze the wave.

@@kagankuscu108 No. Dying is the worst thing you can do because you’d end up losing that huge wave that’s about to crash into your turret anyways. On top of that there’s the 450 gold you lose from the death alone. Just take your loss and recall. If you have tp then you should definitely use it to catch the big wave. It’s also better just to avoid poke in the first place by giving up CS in ranged vs melee matchups. You’ll make it back up after you hit your power spike. Sorry it took so long for someone to answer but I hope this helps.

This was such a useful guide. I am perpetually taking disadvantageous backs, simply because I don't recognize them as being such. For example, I definitely would've backed after killing LB, picked up a caufields, and lost that entire bot wave, allowing the enemy to recall on the bounce.

6:10 Personally disagree with this purchase. You should just opt for the B.F Sword + Caufield for the extra AD and CDR. MF's damage isn't heavily dependent on her attack speed to the point you rush berserkers. Her passive gives her free movement speed so you have magical boots move speed + passive. EDIT: Paused the video and realized afterward that he didn't back. He stayed for a wave and got turret plating and ended up buying ER first completely. I agree with this purchase, but if he had backed instead of shoving another wave I still argue B.F + Caufield is the better purchase.

Right. It was a confusing question. He had 2 long swords and I wasn't sure what item he wanted to build. A 1300g B.F. is standard but a 1100g warhammer for only 400g because you have the two component already... VS upgraded boots for 500g because you have a dagger? He could have bought a B.F. and a warhammer for less gold, and then he would just need 900g to finish essence reaver, an item worth 3300. He would have +25 AD and 10% CDR (very nice on MF) compared to an extra 20% AS and 20 MS. Hm.. I dunno, it's about which flavor you want I guess and how long you're planning on farming until next recall. Considering MF already has extra MS and an AS boost, it's easy to think AD and CDR will make her more complete.

Because he wanted to slowpush so that the enemy laners would feel that their tower is under threat and be forced to stay instead of recalling. If the wave just froze outside of MF's tower Yasuo and Soraka could get a free recall since their tower wouldn't be under threat.

I dont understand why the first outcome, the slowpush is bad? If they slowpush and the wave stops before the tower then mf can thin the wave and freeze. However if they fast push and crash, it will bounce back and yasuo will get a freeze. I think in most situations the enemy will push and recall if they dont see you in the lane so i wouldnt have recalled. Also i think in any elo above silver people will recall after shoving if they dont get interrupted so the third outcome isnt likely gonna happen much. Feel free to correct me if im wrong✌️

its seems so easy by watching, but there are many many factors u need to respect. Like, how did he know he had to recall right there to buy another Dorans? Its sometimes harder then it seems. sometimes Im with 100hp under turret with 200g and backing buying refillables or 2 pots (depoents) to get immediately get poked down under turret again. had such a game yesterday as Kaisa/thresh vs Aphelios/senna. My premade jungler didnt helped me out of the situation, but thats a story for another whatif.. ehh.. skill capped. What do to in a losing matchup where u just get stomped out of the lane?

So each melee gives you 21, and each ranged 14. Makes 63 + 42 = 105 per Wave. Then, in the early Stage, every 3rd Wave has a Cannon, giving 60,63,66,69,... Gold. You are gonna Add 20/21/22/... To every Wave. Add to that the gold per Minute you get, divided by the amount of waves per Minute. Then add Up as many waves as you need to get to your number of waves. Waves every 30 seconds and 122.4 gold per Minute means you get 61.2 gold per Wave passively, making for a total of 186.2 gold per Wave. That means, you get you Best Friend after 7 waves. If I was to be you, Id Just calculate with 170 per Wave cause I cant lasthit. That leads to you needing 8 waves, which gives a better Base, too since the next Wave is a Cannon Wave then. Dunno why they did Not mention this in the vid, but basing when a siege Minion comes is great, cause the enemy can't Push it as fast and the siege Minion is going to tank the Tower longer, so you dont Miss all that many cs. If you Base, you can expect Losing about 3 - 4 Minions for it, even if you have good timing.

At this point you might as well ask him to play for you. You can pressure a lane without throwing hooks just by walking to a good spot on lane. Also you can chill, ward, roam if your adc is safe or you can assist with clearing minions so you get more hook and kill/deny chances. Just always be useful.

Generally you wanna max q when building lethality and w when building crit. In longer fights using q while your w is still active is not even worth due to the long q animation. You would lose dps. So it fully depends on your items. I much prefer crit and w max.
