How to rechannel a Japanese FM radio without special tools

Thanks! This helped me quickly re-align the FM tuning on a german Telefunken Bajazzo 205. It had somehow shifted so far over to the left that I could no longer tune in 88.1 I turned the oscillator screw clockwise about a halfway and now the dial lines up perfectly for all stations!

Also the transmitter for Wireless receiver + FM tuner, broadcast from 85.7 or 86.4 MHz. Mostly FM reset and scan tuners with flashlight, normally tunes from 85 to 109 MHz.

Japan is 76-90MHz while Philippines is 88-108MHz

Yes sir pero hinay hinay lang sa pag rechannelf then inihap ang pagtuyok sa IF butangi ug timailhan sa IF ig tuyok para mabalik ra nimo in case. About sa coil hinay hinal lang sad sa pag adjust kay lisud na ra ba i uli if ma bilangkad na nimo ang coil.

can you advise what those screws you adjusted are? also, cant reli see what you did on the coils.

In coils just adjust the wire wound by widening one by one or narrowing the gap it is a trial and error. Observe the frequency if you widen the coil or narrowing the gap of the coil. There 2 coils for oscillator and antenna. You know if it is the oscillator coil the radio station you tuned in will change to another radio station. While in antenna coil it will strengthen or weakening the signal of a tuned in radio station.

In my case, the radio locks in the right place but it when it does, the audio is very low and loses stereo when it does. What should i do?

Try adjusting the antenna trimmer located in the tuning cap. or variable coil located near the fm oscillator.

@@RandomGuy-px8yr Welcome... In rechanneling you must tweak little by little and check the reception always until you get the last stretch. You will know if it's the last because it will go back where you started when you scan channels.

Hello in car stereo you can buy FM BAND EXPANDER CONVERTER you can buy this in online store. No need for rechanneling especially digital receivers.

Mahirap siguro sa experience ko ang pinakamalayo ko na na i rechannel ng mano mano is hanggang 105.5. Pwe d siguro kung i caculate mo ang at papalitan ang mga windings ng variable oscillator coils at trimmer capacitors.
