Thanks, Dominque. Just recharged my 2007 HHR (going strong with 281,000 miles). Had 84 degrees coming out of the vent before the recharge, now I have 48 degrees.

Can I ask you please, I couldn’t tell what you were looking for when you were reading the gage. The needle kept spinning. What is the needle supposed to be pointing to when it’s full? Thanks so much for your great video!

Yes, you don't want to over fill it, would cause the Compressor to cut on & off. So once the gage says full/green & your car is blowing ac its ok to stop. (NOTE if you don't put enough it can blow cool, but if you want it ice Cold, put it on full) Feel free to ask me anything you want, I am here for you😊

A good general rule of thumb for locating the low pressure line is that it will be a larger diameter than the high pressure line. Makes sense, right?

Dominique B hell yeahhh appreciate it brotha, quick question it’s a year later how’s your car running? What’s the miles on it, I just purchased mines from my neighbor a week ago for 1.5k, it has 151k miles and it’s tagged. Only thing the compressor isn’t turning on at all, so I reckon I need a new compressor, and the radio doesn’t work aswell, and the front left light bulb I have to get, and it needs new tires and rotars all around. But the engine and transmission runs beautifully it’s super quiet also when I turn the car on. Anyways brotha thanks for the quick messages man. Let me know a little about your car too I’m curious looks like you know a lot about these cars also, I’ve done my research on them, it’s very important to keep up on the oil on them aswell, and I heard over time the front rotars warp due to the amount of weight. Sorry I can talk a lot sorry about that lol.

@@jacobgutierrez2471 Its pretty dope to talk to someone that are interested in cars! My car runs fine, perfect. Only thing is water leaks from the sunroof if that happens clean your drain or pull down the panel & re connect the hose. You can get your rotors & brakes off ebay great price. 1500 thats a deal. I got mines for 250$ The person couldnt get it started so i had it towed, turns out it was the starter, i love this car & yes that radio & that whining noise drive me up the wall. Hey i thought my compressor was out too, but i was missing a relay, pop the hood & look for your relay it may be missing or blown. I almost ordered a compressor too but i decided to take a look. Its no problem Bro, im a talker 😂✊🏾

Dominique B oh man!! A relay ok ok!! I’ll check that out bro thank you so much! I was thinking that she was a liar, because she said she got a new ac compressor done at les Schwab, I told her if she had any paper work and she said no she no longer has that paperwork but I could drive down there and I guess they could run the vin to see if the car has been serviced, it could be that she’s telling the truth, you’re enlightening me abit if it could be a relay switch, that would be on the computer right? and glad to know I’ve been seeing countless issues with most owner of usually the same issue. But never a transmission or engine issue ever, usually simple things. Yeah for some reason my radio doesn’t turn on at all, like no power no lights turn on, could that also be a relay or a fuse by chance? Sheesh I hope so because the radio was working but as of recent 2 days ago it completely stopped working. couldn’t see what radio station I was putting it on aswell no lights were on just the radio was playing. Thanks a lot bro for the vital information aswell this helps me out a lot with my journey for this vehicle.

I had water leaks in both HHR . Sometimes leaves, grim and dirt. Clog the 2 little drain holes in side the sunroof. Open sunroof, holes are in each corner. with a straw blow in side them or a cloth hagger or little bleach.theres a video on it on you tube.

Ok, 2 mistakes I noticed in this video, 1) it's One Thirty four A, Not thirteen four A 2) The gauge attached to the can is a pressure gauge, not an outside temperature gauge. It tells you the psi in the system... please do not use it as a means to tell the temperature outside. Oh, and before I forget, just set the A.C. to it's coldest setting inside your car.

The can says 134A they understand, I said put the setting on full blast , you will find the Guage with the can of freon anyway, This video was so old & I was nervous & new to youtube you can hear it in my voice I know what the Guage is called it just came out wrong I get nothing but good comments & emails. If you feel it can be done better by any means start your own youtube channel & show us how it done. Also if you you're a pro already why are you on youtube
