Must you plug it to the wall socket of the hosue conmected to the prepaid meter. My neighbour gave me theirs to help them recahrge because they dont know how to do it, i plugged it to my house wall socket, havent been able to recharge it yet because there was power interruption when I started inputting the pin. Guess this question may help people subsequently

If you have light, in your house, you can just plug it on your extension with or without battery. Sometimes, you have to input the pin repeatedly if it doesn't work. Also make sure it's plugged properly to the wall socket.

Yes you can. The reason people leave it on is because it alerts them when the unit is low by making a beep sound.

@@giftosazee3593 two things. Make sure you’re in the same building why you try out recharging. I realized I had to be in the same area not too far. Also network can be a factor. So keep trying. I kept trying and slept off light came on. Also you can plug it directly to your house wall socket. Even if there’s no light and keep trying if you don’t have a neighbor that’s in the same compound as you. That will work too but it takes longer to work. So plug it in your wallsocket turn the switch and keep trying it’ll work
