Yo always love Tory videos. What kinda microphone is that in your hand? If it’s a dynamic can you make a preset for it please ? I been looking for a minute now for a good dynamic mic preset and handheld is what i use for studio and live application’s. FREE TORY LANEZ . Lota people don’t realize that while he having fun he is also working hard at the same time serious about his craft.

⁠@@SKYJORDXNif you can check out the Samson q2u it’s a VERY popular microphone among ios users of all kind . Podcasts, singers, rappers, etc . Might get some hate for this next part but some have considered it better then the shure sm58 which has legendary status among performers. I can’t confirm or deny this. Because I’ve never held a shure mic. You can find the Samson q2u new around 60+ dollars or used as low as 35 dollars

I just set up my mic and I’ve never recorded before ever I have experience making beats but not with anything else. Good video bro.. havnt heard this song actually come out yet so my question is do i think tory was having a bad day in the studio or do u genrally think it was the engineers fault? Because theres background noise its hard to say 95% was on point but it felt that way.. The engineer must have tried all the quick remedies n it still wasnt working..

As en engineer that’s been in those situations with a lot of ppl in. The control room you gotta be able to handle that. It’s apart of the job because artists have ppl with them majority of the time but it could still be a mix of both cuz Tory got frustrated but I’d have to see the full live stream to see from start to finish

I have a tube mic and in the beginning having the mic upside down helped the warmth of a tube mic warm up the sound being recorded and I just personally prefer the mic to be upside down.
