You can upload 1 hour then start a new recording afterwards that will give you 2 hours. You will however need to merge them via your computer.

Hopefully Xbox can match (or beat) Sony in the getting clips + editing videos department. Getting clips on the PS5 is convenient and longer than just ... one minute. I believe max clip length is one hour. Plus its easy to just cut the parts of the video you don't want on PS5. No need to buy a USB 3.0 thumb drive with PS5.

Hey i had a question so i recorded my first gameplay and it worked great but when i tried recoridng my second hour it seems that no notification popped up, i assumed there was an issue so i unplugged the usb and put it on my pc to see if i still got the footage. Unfortunately it didnt save any of the footage any idea how to fix this? The usb notification popped up when i put it on my xbox maybe i just had to wait longer for the recording to save before unplugging the usb?

@AlsoWarrior no, I found a little solution if you just hit record on your Xbox it let's you record 4 min videos so I do that here and there to put clips together. I tried my hard drive after a few weeks of not using it and it seemed to work so I think it like needs a few weeks break idfk at this point lmao

@@ArzyIQ there is 1 way to do it on Xbox/playstation if you have a computer and a playstation/xbox you can get a capture card and plug it into the xbox then the hdmi in the back of the tv and plug it into the computer and don’t worry it comes with all the ports so it can be plugged in all that the same time
