Simply press PrtScrn button on keyboard to take screenshot and recording on ubuntu it is by default you don't need any other software

On Ubuntu 20.04 this just takes screenshot image. Are you saying you can also record video in Ubuntu 22.04?

Do you mean window system Wayland. after install ubuntu it is showing windowing system = wayland. sound not coming while recording. What can i do to fix this issue

You might be using default videos to view your recorded video. Use vlc to view your video sudo apt install vlc

You might be using on wayland. Some screen recorders does not run on wayland.Try changing your default desktop environment
