It’s so good to see that you put a video up for ppl who stream. I wish I saw your video before I finally figured everything out on my own. But it was satisfying once it all came together. My setup is with a turtle beach elite pro with hub and third party hdmi convert and it’s pretty much the same way you setup your headset, elgato and mix amp. And the crazy part is when I don’t stream on the Ps5 and I switch to my Xbox series x all I do is unplug the hdmi in the back of my ps5 and plug it right into the Xbox series X hdmi and I am ready to stream again without changing any settings in OBS or the elgato app. But thank for sharing your video. You just got a new sub :)

If you plug the usb from the mixamp into the PC instead of into the back of the ps5 you won't need to plug in another aux from the pc to the mixamp to hear your computer audio as well.

Hello! I just wanted to say, I have spent months figuring out all these steps. Thank you so much for putting this together. So I have all of the items you mentioned and I have this set up. I am using the MixAmp but I use Steeleseries Artic pro wired headset with it just due to personal fit preference of the headset. How can I use the Mic on the headset for party chat and the USB mic for stream? Is it the same? Also, any chance you know how the PC setting for windows 11 to ensure the correct output/input of audio is selected?

So I connected everything the exact way you did and I got audio to the headset from the ps5 but my elgato wasn’t picking up anything it just said no signal and I messed around with it for hours, I don’t know why it isn’t working but i think it might be the adapter just is defective because it worked for a few minutes then stopped showing the display on my monitor and in the elgato software, so im returning that one and getting a new one today to see if that was the problem🤞

I was trying to use the mic on my astro a40 but my party chat can't hear me and there is no game or chat audio coming out on stream. I set everything up exactly right with the astro a 40 tr, my astro mixamp, my astro hdmi adapter, with my Elgato hd60 s plus to my ps5 and there is no microphone audio, meaning nobody im gaming with can hear me and the stream can't hear me or gameplay

Hey! You are welcome! You can both your Yeti Mic for your recording/stream and then you Astro mic for your party chat.

Yea, unfortunately you can't. But by turning the volume all the way down on the Astro A40 through the Atro app, you should be good to go. That just helps with having to mic sounds coming in, but the party chat will still hear you.

@@zirHazeGaming hey man now that you mention this, I have been having issues with my mixamp software. When I mute my mic on the software it still captures my voice after any loud talk or yelling. This causes me to have an echo with my Blue yeti on stream. Normally when this happens I’m forced to plug the mixamp on the PC real quick and have to remute the headset mic but it doesn’t stay muted permanently. Any reason of why or solution to this that you might know of?

Hello, I just built a stream PC and i am using a Xbox series x for my game source with astro a50 4th gen headset, I have the Xbox going to the elgato 4k60 pro mk2 in my pc and audio for game source works perfect but I can not figure out for the life of me how to get the voice from the Xbox game chat, party chat, and my mic to come through my stream. I also have the astro HDMI adapter and if I connect that with the HDMI cables going through the elgato I loose variable refresh rate option and I also loose the 120hz refresh rate option @ 1440p. Every time I mute my mic using the switch included with the cable of my Astro headsets I got this eco on my stream, I think the stream port is capturing my mic from my headsets and also I use a condenser for my stream, that why my voice is double on stream, only way to solve Is just like getting into the Astro command center and mute de stream port again and avoiding to mute myselft using cable switch. any idea?

@zirHazeGaming ya for me I had to set the audio output from "USB headset (astro mixamp) to the TV (hdmi device). This is because I was using a third party adapter instead of the astro adapter. But if you use astro than the USB selection should work just fine. Lol it was word weird but thanks!

@zirHazeGaming i recently brought the hd60 x for my ps5 and i have astro a40s and when i plugged it in my screen went dull and then my screen started splitting?not sure if was a dodgy capture card or somthing else wrong

I just have an aux cord going from my mix amp pro to my elgato, but when I stream, there’s a loud buzzing noise. When I turn down the elgato volume on stream labs obs, it turns it off, but you can’t hear any game or chat audio. Is there a fix for this ???

Everything works perfectly fine until I get to finally recording and then I hear both from the party mic (Astro) and the external mic I use for recording (Blue Yeti). I was just wondering If anyone has a fix for this.

Hey! You can solve this by lowering the volume of the astro mic all the way down in the Astro app. Your party chat will still be able to hear you.

The audio output device resets to tv every time you turn off your ps5 so you will need to change it back to usb headset (astro MixAmp pro) every time.
