Thank you for your videos. They are so helpful. This one, unfortunately, did not match my Canva. 😞I do not get those "3 dots" on the upper right hand-corner on my slideshow. I just get a + sign to add people to access, then an "insights" icon to the right of that, then the length of the presentation, and then a "Share" button all the way to the right. Any ideas? Thank you! Could we record the audio separately for each slide without having to record it all at once? I was thinking of recording the voiceover for each slide separately as I only have a script prepared for that specific slide and not the entire presentation. Would you happen to know if this is possible?

I suppose that's possible, yes. You'd have to add the audio to a VIDEO presentation template so you can adjust the audio to for each slide.

This is great! Even in 2024 the voiceover in Canva is awkward and recording in Qicktime makes the file too large. I was looking for a workaround so I will try one of my voice apps on my phone! Thanks so much! You are awesome!

Thanks for this video, it's clear and easy to follow. Is there a way to preview your recording before you decide to delete or download? At the moment I am downloading the project to listen to it and if I don't like the audio, I have to go back to Canva, make a copy and then record a new audio. I'm sure there must be a better way. Just after I wrote this, I realised I was being daft. I just use the link that the recording generates and paste it into a new tab. Much faster.

Had the same issue with the Canadian version. The 3 dots are hidden under the "Share" button. Hit that and you will find something like " ... More" at the bottom of the pop-up. Hope this helps.

No I'm afraid not. Once you've downloaded from Canva you can't edit any further unless you mute the audio in Canva and record a new voice over in iMovie.

Yes you could, just make sure you use a presentation VIDEO template so you can easily add / edit your audio.
