Been using this method for Premiere Pro but after switching to Davinci Resolve I could not figure out how. All of your videos are really helpful! Thank you.

@@JasonRobertsVideo oh yes! Indeed I am. Been using Adobe apps like Premiere and AE daily for 8 years so I am struggling my bottom out for technical stuffs but definitely enjoying learning. I am surprised that Davinci feels more stable and polished than Adobe PR and AE. Especially when I am working with foreign languages for text boxes. PR and AE struggles with foreign fonts 😓

how do you delete an automation track completely ? I've been trying to do it and the only thing I've found is to completely move the audio to another track.

Is it possible to set up loop record automation i.e. when the play head loops back to the start you can try again and (keep looping in record) as you go along thus one can capture a perfect automation pass. Currently the behaviour is that of a punch in type. I can get it to loop and record but when it loops around to the start again, it disables the automation record, thus it punches out of record yet it continues to loop all day. So, I have to hit record again (and again and so on). I just want it to stay in record mode. I'm recording fader automation using a controller. All works fine, it's just a pain that it stops recording when it loops back. Any ideas? Thank you for sharing these videos, they're so good. Edit: I meant to ask also if it's possible to curve the automation line too. Ty Jason.
