How to Record with ZERO Latency in Logic Pro

Hi dude - low latency mode does not automatically move the audio to compensate for the delay. It compensates for the delay in audio output we hear when recording with plugins :)

You can set a bus channel in low latency mode by right-clicking on the bus and selecting "Low-Latency-Mode"

I bounce down and drag the .wav file into another session. Then I record in the new session. No latency and you can use as many plugins as you like. Then when you've recorded, copy/paste the newly recorded track and put it in the main session.

Yeah bro my biggest with logic was that even when disabling plugins, it doesn’t remove latency. I prefer to record vocals with a FEW plugins active like autotune, etc. But of course when it’s time to playback, I want all the other stuff on too. Fl studio works this way, disabling plugin will completely bypass the processing. Wish logic could implement this.

or just use a small mixing desk, reroute the headphones there, and output into the pc for recording. mute the input side until playback required., then the output of the pc back into the mixing desk.. that way both music and vocals can be 0 latency.
