Deep Bhai, i have 2 imp questions: 1. does flx4 rekordbox software support recording too or is it a buy extra addon? Does Serato lite has recording option too or does Serato pro only has it? 2, I am not a beginner dj nor an advanced one and I want to upgrade my controller - preferably pioneer flx4 or flx10 or any other(numark or hercules). I am not a professional dj either , it is just a passion for music and house parties here in US and make the people dance. So, which controller should i get? Appreciate your advice. Again, your videos are good. Keep it up. I can relate to them.

Any ideas on how to record with Serato if you’re using music from a steaming service like Tidal? Serato won’t let you. I tried recording with QuickTime but the audio quality was terrible.

what if you have unpaid subscription for recordbox and pioner cdj under 3000? I play from usb and thats good for me and no reason for beggining start from paid subscription on recordbox which allows you record set. And not so convinient to take everytime laptop with you/ It's better to give more options.

If it's a MacBook. Make sure it's 2015 and before or the 16th 2019 and after. MacBooks Anything in between these have a lot of issues and you must skip them.

Hi I'm Rufus from Sydney Australia. I came across your video on KZbin. I need your help, I have pioneer cdj nexus 2000 and pioneer nexus DJM 2000. I'm not able to connect it to macbook pro. I have Serato dj pro downloaded to my computer. But for some reason I unable to connect to it. Hey bro. Thanks for your comment. It depends on the kind of music you mix. I recommend mixcloud for house music. Even SoundCloud is good but they often have copyright issues but mixcloud works all the time. If it's Bollywood you can upload it on hearthis.at. Hope I was able to answer your questions. . Yes. Recording through software works. But not through the DJM REC APP. Because DJM rec requires USB SEND & RETURN.

-12db based on checking levels on 1 track and I'd say it should peak at -6db when 2 tracks are in the mix with at least one in the drop section etc. Post normalizing / limiting / mastering etc is best done after definitely vs in app.

Lately whenever I record, I put my master all the way up & just play with my trims incredibly low so that way I can prevent clipping & monitor using the levels on my controller! ( as opposed to turning down that master, since I've had issues with tracks coming out too quiet in the recording )
