So glad you give your time to show us how to sketch and paint what is in our everyday lives. We don't have to travel to find ways to make art. We can sketch what is in our homes, show our everyday life, and it will be a wonderful record to give to our children.

I love your comment about being Brave, which is true for me. I do tend to look for the "easy" things to draw and paint, however, your beautiful work and explanations inspire me to tackle anything ... no matter how it comes out! 😀 Thank you! Peace and Blessings from Texas USA 🌹❤🌹

I enjoyed this session immensely! I'm envious of all the beautiful fall colors, here in S California there isn't much of that! But I do have a bag of buns! I love how you make plastic bags so interesting.

Wow everything looks so real. The clear stuff you paint usually looks too dark to me when you start adding color, but somehow in the end it always looks right. I guess my eye is tricking me. It will be interesting to see the seasons change through your drawings

your videos are so interesting and give loads of advice. I am very inspired by your beautiful art and I learn a lot from you! I understand that, for concision purposes, you accelerate (am I right?) the video of you drawing. Would you tell me how much is the acceleration (if there is one) so I can also watch you draw at normal pace. I have a tendency to set myself unrealistic drawing speed (especially as a beginner) and I also tend to lack patience.. Thank you!
@BeckyCao2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your appreciation! For the drawing part, I make it 4x faster, and the painting parts are mostly 2x speed.

Your colors always come out so vivid. Do you wait for your first layer to dry before adding the next ones? My watercolors always look very messy and muddy.
@BeckyCao2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. It depends. Sometimes we have to wait for the layer to dry. Sometimes we need to do wet-on-wet (for example, sky gradience), then be cautious about mixing warm vs cold colors, and not over stir the area. Lots of experience and practice.

@@BeckyCao thank you, really good tips. I will watch out for those mistakes 😘
