please help! for the Mac QuickTime Player, when im on safari it'll record my face and screen but when I open a game in fullscreen it stops recording my face and only goes to screen record.

Question for you: those who normally edit videos in premiere pro or final cut (Like me) would you recommend to screenrecord with a software like loom, camtasia or screenflow and then import that footage to the more advance editing software to work with color grading, audio etc.? If you know what I mean. I think Camtasia for example looks awesome, but I also want to edit in premiere or final cut. Not sure if it's a good workflow for creating tutorials or how other that create tutorials go about this. Thanks for your input!

Hi Heather Really great video! but I am having an issue and I don't know if its my fault or not, I followed your guidance and I click on the NEW MOVIE RECORDING and my picture appears, but when I try to screen record, by quick time player disappears when I open up a new tab on my Mac :( so I cannot use the movie record option but I can do the screen option but not together if you see what I mean :(

Whenever I try opening "new movie recording" on the QuickTime player, it shows all black instead of my webcam. When I press record, it says to try recording later, it's been happening to me for the past few weeks now, and I can resolve the issue. any idea?

Why does Quicktime stop recording? Is there a time limit? It just stops for no reason and I don't know about it until I watch the recording.

May not have sufficient memory for the length of videos you’re taking. Its a problem I into a few times and couldn’t figure out why it kept stopping. Hope this helps.
