@@hayley1868 Hey! I know what it feels like to be in this situation. Some things that helped me personally when I was going through a tough time at work: 1. Listen to affirmations before you go to work! I'll add a link to one of my favourite affirmations for confidence! kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJusdK2Zrdeed6s 2. Write down your thoughts! I carried a notebook with me to work and I would write words of encouragement and list some of my strengths to give me courage! This really works! And if you do something good at work, WRITE IT DOWN!! 3. In school we had to write little notes for Christmas to our classmates. They would basically write nice things about you in the note hehe! I randomly found these notes when I was going through a tough time at work, and they gave me a lot of strength! I would carry these notes with me to work and read them before going to work! The words in them gave me sooo much strength! If you own something like this (maybe a card that a loved one gave you) then read it!! It will help you so much! Finally, your work skills don't define you as a human. Even if you're not doing the best at your job, it doesn't mean you're a bad human. You should NEVER judge your value based on your performance at work! It took me a long time to understand this and even today, I struggle to keep my self-worth separate from my work life, but I still try my best!! I hope you have the best day at work!!!

@@lovelillysingh1230 Yeah thanks for the advice really. I am trying the affirmations right now... But I am a teacher and that too on adhoc basis so a mistake can cost my job and I am the sole earning member of my family with old parents behind me. That gives me extreme stress and I can't try for government exams because if I am transferred somewhere else then my parents won't be able to relocate as they are very old. And I am a single child. The principal is very strict and the school doesn't have a good promotion structure and everything is blamed on teachers... Like children failed...teachers fault, child's copy not complete after informing the parents,...Teacher's fault, children running off after the school is over without informing the teacher....teacher's fault and on top of that teachers are not allowed to scold or beat a child...they have to be treated nicely always These things get to me sometimes. Teaching is not what it used to be nowa days.

@@wildfellow9063 thanks for the advice. I appreciate other's experience on this matter. It's not something we talk about easily. when i make a mistake, i feel this is a huge deal, but in reality, i don't know how to evaluate how big a mistake it is or if the company even care. for example, the other day, i misread a demand and did a small 2-3 days work that was not actually demanded, it means waste of time. It would not appear so grave if it wasn't for the fact that managers are completely anal about spending more time than necessary on task. But then i have and have seen other spent double or triple the allowed time on some difficult task and nothing happen. Thus my sense of what's big or small mistake is completely out of whack.

Totally agree with the advice. But also, society has been programmed to NOT expect mistakes from others. This programming comes from school, when you were told the whole time that if you didn’t know the answer, didn’t pass the test or missed the homework , you were a failure but this is far from the truth. in a real world mistakes are made all the time so Instead we should learn how to handle as good as possible when someone around us makes a mistake. In my opinion, We should never feel disappointed about someone just because one day that person didn’t live up to your expectations. we are humans and we’re always going to make mistakes along this way called life. Im a business owner and when one of my workers does something wrong, instead of making him/her feel like im disappointed, I say comforting things to let them know we all going to work together to get through that situation as a team because at the end of the day that’s what we are; a team. And teams go through together in Good or bad situations. Team work is what really create success.

I made a mistake as well, but it was a different type of mistake. I wore something that was deemed inappropriate to work. I had my shoulders out, which I did not think it was going offend anyone, was inappropriate, or was going to make the manager angry , but my manager said you have to wear a jacket. So I put on a jacket immediately after she said it. And even though I immediately did what she asked, Her entire attitude changed toward me even though we had a good relationship before that. Hours after that exchange, I asked her for help on something and she said, "No, you don't pull me." (With an attitude) Like whatever that supposed to mean. I guess what she meant was don't ask me for help. And I said OK because I didn't care at that point because to me I feel like if I did what you asked and you know I did not personally try to offend you, than to me at this point I don't care because it's getting to the point where it's just ridiculous now to be upset about something one time and so small especially after I did what you asked. sorry if so long :) thank you

If employee makes mistakes in company then who bears the loss of financial entity.....company itself or that employee who made mistake..... please tell me
@prolificliving3 жыл бұрын
Normally the company bears the loss but the employee suffers consequences in their careers unless it is handled graciously by management. I hope this helps.

I've learned from my mistakes at work, but it doesn't mean I'm gonna forgive myself for them. I have reason to believe that my ASD makes me stand out and makes others perceive me a certain way. Do you know how often I said dumb things, like at work? I stupidly mentioned a man’s right to hit a woman for self-defense, and a new coworker proposed a new topic. And I know she doesn’t like me, because when I was casually chatting with a baker while waiting for the desserts, she entered and said “harassing the baker, John?” I asked why she thought that, and she said “Because you’re John.” Or how about the time I told a coworker (whom I didn’t think would resent this, since he’s clownish, snuck up on a guy, and once made a weight joke to him) “put a sock in your àss. I mean mouth.” Shockingly, he actually did resent that and told me I can’t speak to him that way. I didn’t intend harm; he had interrupted a question of mine to another worker to, if I remember correctly, playfully diss me. I guess I was annoyed with the clownish interruption, but I didn’t mean for it to be obvious. But when it was, I approached him and apologized. But he replied unfairly: “you’re good, man. You just need to learn how to speak to people.” Way to make an apologetic person who already feels bad feel worse, hypocrite A jocular dick giving me the lecture feels worse. In fact, he's actually quite popular and well-liked at work. I've seen him have fun and get along so well with my coworkers, while acting like I don't exist at all. We pass each other in the hall or wherever, and he doesn't speak to me. Of course, I'll admit that I started the silence, since his hypocritical rudeness that one time, but I don't know for sure if he's giving me the silent treatment or anything. Either way, I'd say I'm not on his "good buds to joke with" list. I know he likes my coworkers better than me. Just the concept of being ignored hurts, and it doesn't help when they show admiration for the guy whom I think is obnoxious. And that's not the worst part. I was taken to my boss's office with her and a high-ranking chef. The chef told me that I've been touching my coworkers too much. Not THAT type of touch, of course not! Just casual ones, like on arms or shoulders. I was always very outgoing at work. When I asked her if anyone reported a complaint, she said it didn't matter (so I guess yes). She told me that we need the workers to be comfortable in a good work environment; that I pretty much shouldn't talk about anything other than work and school (we're a university's catering service). That I shouldn't tell my stories because they may be inappropriate to my coworkers. Now yeah, I pretty much don't have a filter, and sometimes I guess I do say "inappropriate" stuff at work, but not _horribly nor intentionally._ I just like to joke around and have fun with people. I really didn't get specific information from the chef about what and who. She understands/ likes that I'm outgoing, but she made it sound risky and in need of limits, for good behavior and my coworkers' sake. And again, that I shouldn't touch their shoulders or arms without consent. But seriously, I'm not a creep or Joe Biden. I didn't mean to be so "handsy." I'm so embarrassed about the lecture. Have I really gone that far at work? I already hate being on the spectrum, and sometimes I actually hate myself.
