To recruit someone is not necessary save and reload. Marianne didn’t accept to be recruited in a sunday but then came to my class in the week. The chances are really high imo

Thats partically what I meant while the odds are low since you are rolling a 25% 7 times in a week. Ive missed students coming into my class so the save and reload is just for insurance really. :)

Just raise support to high c with at least a d in the skills they require and most likely you get the character

I have tried for Marianne so many times, but she wont, even at Magic C rank and support B :( and now I'm in (chapter 11 I think), and it's too late, the split will happen now... not sure why she won't join, my Mag. stat is only 13 though, I read somewhere it needs 15 at least, but I think you need an entire rank to raise it - training it a bit more didn't raise the stat (maybe only a level can do that)... So sad, I really want her :( I've even taken her along as mission assistance almost every month.

My recruitment in 4 route : - Crimson Flower : Sylvain + Ingrid + Lysithea - Azure Moon : Caspar + Lysithea - Verdant Wind : Ingrid - Silver Snow : Everyone

I'd add Ferdinand to Verdant Wind. He and Lysithea have a Paralogue you don't get in CF, he has special dialogue for tasks with Lorenz, and he has paired supports with Hilda and Marianne. You're also lacking a proper melee dodge tank without him.

You can actually save everyone on the Blue Lion route. Only Edelgard and Hubert die. Blue lions automatically get the church allies. The entire Black eagle house can be recruited as well as the entire golden deer excluding Claude who can still be kept alive. Rhea can live if you A support even if you don't want to romance her. As of now, I literally have everyone on the BL house excluding Claude (who is still alive) and Edelgard and Hubert who will eventually have to die.

you forgot about jeritza, who even tho is not a student is a playable character that has to die in AM, in CF only dimitri, dudue and rhea have to die, so its not that diferent so the minimum death run is kind of the same in both CF and AM (SS and VW makes you kill more people)

@@sebastianriquelme4129 Your right about Jeritza but wrong about CF. You WILL lose Cyril, Catherine AND Gilbert. The possibility of losing Flayn and Seteth is also strong as Byleth must reach them in order for them not to die which would be difficult without being a Wyvern or teleporting magic. Even if you can save Flayn and Seteth, that's still 6 passive units that end up dead on CF. Dimitri, Dedue, Rhea, Cyril, Catherine, and Gilbert. BL allows you to save the most people period.

@@sebastianriquelme4129 Even with that thought process of trying to avoid those 3 units, your probability of killing more units in CF is stronger than AM. Your more likely to put your units at risk in CF trying to avoid enemies that will definitely attack them vs AM which will have a bunch of units that just sit in backup and can casually survive to the end if you don't use them. In CF, Flayn, Seteth, Gilbert, Catherine, and Cyril are direct threats even if you try to avoid them. AM simply removes them as threats period.

I just ng+ 4 times starting from blue lions to crimson flower to verdant wind and finally I'm replaying it all again for the fourth time for silver snow, but because I have so much God damn renown, I just bought everyone's supports, bought all the skills and abilities from the 6 additional characters in using, and got everyone at chapter 10 so I only had one level up and they're all their canon classes now. It's so beautiful lol

I managed to recruit Ingrid without trying because I just restarted and started boosting all stats to D, D+ and C to try get as many students as possible. She is the only one who said yes to recruitment so far and I didn't even care about her until she joined my class. Damn. Now I have to start again for a third time because Mercedes and Annette are cinnamon rolls I don't want to slaughter.

Basically yes, you need a rank B in support in order to recruit them. You can raise support many ways but the best is through gift spamming, eating meals , and fighting alongside them. once a month you can invite someone from another class into yours and that's a good way to gain support during battles. Ferdinand and Caspar cant be recruited this way so you will need to train in specific skills to recruit them, I recommend heavy armor for Ferdinand and Brawling for Caspar. If you get a rank c support with them I believe it drops the skill requirement to c or c+ .

I tried to get them all, but I failed. I first side with Edelgard. I am currently fighting Claude and I wonder if I can "spare" Hilda. I really don't want to kill any of my students, unless of course it is absolutely programmed and my choices and wishes absolutely don't matter. And another question regarding Gameplay: Is it possible to see how much damage my unit receives from an enemy while moving them? It annoys me to no end that I only see that they die next round AFTER I moved them, wasting God Pulses for an Information that I should get WHILE moving.

I'm not 100% if Hilda has to die(has been like 6 months since I've played the game), you can probably avoid her and use flyers to get to Claude and end the map prematurely, this way if she does die it would be off screen and not by your hand. And to answer your second question when moving a unit around you can see arrows to which enemies can attack yours, I believe if you highlight the enemies it should tell you damage projections. I just got to the point in which I had to choose between siding with Edlegard and the church. I have all students and only Catherine, Seteth, Cyril, and Gilbert not recruited. I am playing on Hard/Permadeath.

Yeah if you are going for every student in NG+, you can blitz professor level or just restore hard to get supports with students. Professor lv just gives you far more time slots for support events and training sessions to raise stats. TBH doing this on NG+ is far easier then on a fresh save

He's on a story tied mission, when you come across him he will be an enemy. You just have to defeat him in battle and then afterward the game will give you the option to let him reenter your army. Hope that helps :)

@@williamdripspeare741 Its in chapter 16 he will show up halfway through the mission as a suprise attack. Just make sure your byleth is the one to defeat him in battle thats the only way you will be given the option.

Yes you can the only characters that cant be saved are some of the house leaders and their right hand. Hilda is an exception depending on decisions you make within the campaign.
