Do you ever use a thimble? I started sewing with a tailors thimble (metal with no top) and now feel lost without it especially on thick fabric. It makes it easier to push thread thru heavy bits. Your stitches are beautiful!

as far as I can see, he pulls the needle out rather than pushing it through in most cases, which i've seen many historical costumers do replicating techniques from centuries ago in Europe

Thank you very much for watching my video! We had some BGM copy right issue (don’t know why) and they good off TGS sound from some of my videos... Newer video do not have BGM. So, they are all good👍

once again I am amazed by your projects. I have a question......does all the hand sewing that you do make your hands and fingers sore? The fabrics you're working with aren't particularly soft, plus the layers that you sew through at once must have an effect on your poor hands. How do you deal with that?❤❤❤
