This is absolute nonsense. Energy meters measure supply voltage and in-phase component of load current. So power factor has no effect on energy supplied.

You are wrong . Power factor correction is world wide known and proven method . KWA= KVA x Cos Phi. Ie Active Power / Appearnt Power . You have to make Phase angle 90 by power factor correction . So that Cos Phi = 1 . And Apprent and Actual power become same .

Hello power saver does not work , if your house with resistor load / filament bulb only if your using indicative load example induction motor / more tube lights with chokes , these area it works, some extent you reduce bill. As you show, it won't work , does not reduce bill.

Don't even try it, being an electronic engineer i can say that it will be really bad. Capacitor in series acts as a resistor and therefore very low current will flow into your ac and your ac circuitry may corrupt itself
