How to reduce excess lateral G-force in Planet Coaster!

Hey everyone! It's about that time for another tutorial, where we'll be diving into a way to reduce your lateral g-force in Planet Coaster. This is quite basic and doesn't really cover ways your shaping can reduce lats but should help when you have long drawn out turns and banked elements. Hopefully you can apply this to your coasters and reduce any excess lats you may have on your elements! Anyway, hope you enjoy and find this short tutorial helpful!

Tbf they haven't quite figured out the "no lateral g's" function yet

You have generaly lateral in transition, it depend of the coaster type. For example, RMC have lateral in EGF turn, stall... If You use FVD, when it come to transition. Even if FVD says no lateral g force, in no limit 2 or planco, You have lateral g force.

Yeah it's usually on whippy transitions that you get lats, those kind are alot of fun too, especially on whippy s curves :)

Also you Can think of the track as a ribbon, a ribbon won't turn left or right without causing a "wave" in the fabric, it Can only turn left or right by having a natural banking

What about the down force as opposed to side force. A car on a flat unbanked corner gives side G force. A motorcycle of a skier in a flat, no camber corner, gives down force to the rider or skier, not a side force, as these both lean over unlike a car.

Depends on how realistic you are going for. For 100% realisim maximum would be 0.15

You don't want to exceed 0.5 to -0.5 on most modern coasters :)
