I like the way you mention types of products one can use, as well as mentioning the products you yourself use. I can try your tips without feeling I need to run out and buy a whole new set of products. Thanks for the video!

This was exactly the info I needed! Lately, even on wash days, my wavy hair has been super soft and falling flat especially at the roots. I wondered if I didn’t just need a boost of protein to bring back some definition and volume. I’ve purchased a lightweight keratin/protein mask that I’m going to use today to see if it brings some bounce back to my waves/curls. I love that your advice is not one-curl-fits-all. Our hair is all unique and will be different even in and of itself on any given day. Thanks for a great video!

Thank you so much for this. Last year, I lost all my hair & it came back as curly. I never had hair this curly before (it just had a wave but was more straight) & I’m not sure how to care for it, especially the days after washing. These videos are very helpful even though my hair is just barely shoulder length.

Re: the problem you have with the curls stretching out near your ears. I have the same thing. A hairdresser explained to me that these bits of hair are actually “sideburns”, like man have. They are by nature different that the rest of your hair. In our case, it means that they are less curly. One of the solutions I’ve found, it to keep them shorter so they don’t stand out as much

Thank you for this very useful information! I have recently turned 50 and my hair is medium/long now after being short for many years. I can use all the tips and tricks I can get to learn to love my curls again. I need to keep hair care and styling as easy as possible as I don't always have the focus or energy for it.

What if the hair goes soft but you also need volume? Can you do two different products on one refresh day? Also, my layers at the nape of my neck go stick straight no matter what method I do overnight. I can’t get them to recurl the next day even with finger coiling, looks horrific. Any tips?

Very helpful- thank you. My hair frizzes the minute I put water spray or with damp hands. Looks great when I smooth product on . But as soon as it's dry it turns into a frizzy mess 😔. Does that mean maybe putting more gel on might help with the frizz? If I reuse leave in, it gives me sticky frizz- even worse. What should I do 🤔
@katieduffy593 Жыл бұрын
I used to get that. What helped is doing better brush smoothing and using more products on wash day and a silk pillow case. Then i don't have to refresh as often. And when i do there is less frizz do i use a refresh spray and glaze it over. So not actually using water.
@coccobella.x Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tips. Been trying and hopefully things will get better. Do you spray activating spray on your palms and glaze over?

Yes i spray cantu curl revitaliser into my hands and glaze.

What do you think of K18 for curly highlighted damaged hair?
@sophiemariecurly Жыл бұрын
Sorry for delayed reply! I have recently been using the k18 and It's been a game changer for me! Just when I thought my hair couldn;t get any curlier it just springs up even more haha! So yes I think if you have damaged hair you're definitely going to notice a difference in it. x
