HOW TO REFURB A PEUGEOT 205 GTI SPARE WHEEL CAGE?

"I have a 205 GTI 1.9L. I recently bought an original 1.9 wheel to use as a spare, but unfortunately, I realized it doesn’t fit in the spare wheel cage-it won’t close. The original spare for the 1.9 is a small 14" wheel. How did you manage to fit a 15" wheel in the space and cage in your car? Thanks for your help!"

Interesting. I'm not sure, I assumed the cage on mine didn't fit the 1.9 15" wheels because it was a cage for a 1.6 with 14" wheels. I think there are different cage sizes between the 1.9 and the 1.6. Have a look on ebay, I could be talking nonsense!
