What if you are registered with a Pro like BMI as a writer and a publisher company would you still need the admin part of the service?

If I have released my song with another distributor, and I already deal with another company for Syncing, can I solely use Ditto Publishing (only the the royalty collection part of it)?

Do the collaborators need to have a paid ditto account to claim their royalties? Or will it go to the company they are registered with (i.e PRS/ASCAP/BMI etc) ? Same question again but in regards to streaming/purchase splits, do the collaborators need to have a paid ditto account or will their split go directly to their distributor? P.S. love ditto, you guys have helped me with loads so far and can't fault you at all, great distributor and can't wait to release my first full length project with you guys! 👊🏻

@Ditto Music I have a question. So at Time Mark 0:33 , if I sign up just for the intent for "Publishing" ONLY, why I am I paying 39 pounds (around $43 USD) for just signing up? Also your video doesn't clarify if that is just a "one time fee" or is that "per month"? I don't understand either / or... Seeing how if your going to be my Publisher you are going to be taking 50% of the Publisher share collected by my professional rights organization (PRO) for any copyrighted works, and then you take another 10% of any mechanical royalties on top of that. If I have any of that wrong, please let me know. And if I am right, please justify that amount your charging me (that 35 pounds) right from the start.

In regards to the ipi/CAE number You should have your own but ditto can provide one for you! Em relação ao número ipi / CAE Você deve ter o seu próprio, mas idem podemos fornecer um para você!

Hey man, they would have to join PRS separately to get a CAE number.

No, just for the year, and you can add publishing to as much songs as you like.
