How to Promote Your Music Video & Get MORE Views | YouTube Ads Guide | Ditto Music

Couple suggestions regarding the youtube ads. Highly recommend setting the networks to only "youtube videos," and really utilizing the placements section to only include channels and/or videos that exclusively play music similar to yours. This way your ad will show to people who are already listening to similar music in the moment your ad shows up. If you have the partner networks option selected, your ad will show up in all sorts of places, for example, people playing video games on their phone, which is likely to not perform as well. A heads up, google will automatically have all the networks selected when you create your first ad, and you have to manually turn these options off after your ad has been created. I'd also exclude embedded videos and live streaming videos under the "excluded types and labels" section. Another one I think is super important is setting the "frequency capping" section, so your ad doesn't continue to show to people who are not interested in your content. Oh, and never spend more than 0.01 per view!!! One final thing, I noticed that instead of clicking on my ad, a considerable amount of people will shazam my song instead, so I've learned to pay attention to how much that is happening to factor into the success of an ad campaign. @@straightdrop6662 cpm is not the same thing as cpv. I was saying set the cpv at 0.01, not the cpm. hope that clears that up for you

I actually found out some of this recently while running my own campaign however I have seen many ads while watching youtube where it is the artist's video and they are using profanity. However when I tried to run my latest docuseries which has a bit of profanity it was said to be Not eligible. Would you or @DittoMusic happen to know the work around in the settings for this?

Hey, you can def publish an album with our free trial. The only limitation on the trial is that it’s a chance to try our Artist subscription plan, which means you can release unlimited singles, EPs and albums, but only for 1 artist.

The are approved, enabled and I've wideded the targeted channels to include massive artist channels, generic keywords and a high CPV just to be sure. You can't promote your music video with Google ads. It's always gonna get rejected. KZbin ads will require you to provide proof of music also the video content no matter how clean it is it will be flagged as inappropriate. KZbin ads for music is a joke pointless.
