How to reinforce tie rods on a demolition derby car project "burn barrel"

this is how i do it, mony other people do them different ways but just becuase we do it different does not mean we are wrong. both ways work but this works for me. in the past i have just put angle iron to them but i like this more.

Chad B we have done three bubble luminas two were rotted and one was good and it was a ex cop car Cassandra ran it and she loved it

I don't know if it's the camera angle or not but it looks like you should have tilted the front a little more .. tilting it to make the front level and not pointed up correct ? so it don't act as a lever

Ryan Proctor my hoist is bent the rear arms are. Lower than the front , I use my hoist to fold the rear of the cars up in the rear . I did not want to tilt too much one because this is my first one and not really sure if the rules allow me to even tilt lol .

Quick question. Do you do anything with the inner tie rods in compacts? I was also told that replacing the tie rod with threaded rod would prevent it from snapping. Have you tried the threaded rod method?

if i am allowed i sleave the inner tie rod but if rules do not allow i go 100 percent stock and no never done the threaded rod way it would bend really easy i think unless you could put pipe over the rod

Ryan Proctor I really try and keep my videos under 10 mins and I like answering questions and stuff on my channel. No way am I a expert just trying to learn and do some thing new last two years ran nothing but minis really so wanted to do a big car and I want it to last . When I make a video they are usually about 20-30 mins long and I edit them down. Been watching ways to make my KZbin channel better and they is one of the ways keep videos under ten mins, they say most people get bored after 2 mins and change the video any ways lol

zacks workshop I understand that . don't worry about content you are 1 of very few who go into depth of how to's. there are a few others but not a full build or limited weld car . most are minis. that's cool . but I'm a weld or limited weld fan since I was 6 years old . 30 some odd years ago . keep doing what your doing and you will get the clicks you need to make it worth you time
